There is something truly special about a big horse with a gentle heart, and Vegas is one of those boys who reminds us that sometimes the biggest horses have the sweetest souls. Vegas is a gorgeous, true blue roan draft cross gelding with a wonderfully gentle disposition and a personality that makes him just as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. At 4 years old and standing an impressive 16.3 hands tall, he has that beautiful, substantial draft-cross build and striking coloring that are sure to turn heads wherever he goes. But as much as we love his appearance, it’s his kind nature and willingness that really make him special. Vegas isn’t just a pretty face! This handsome boy offers wonderful versatility and a solid foundation under saddle. He has a nice one-handed neck rein, moves off leg pressure, backs willingly, works collected circles, and picks up his leads. He is a pleasure to ride and has the kind of gentle demeanor that makes spending time in the saddle enjoyable. Whether you’re riding around the ranch, working in the arena, or heading out for an adventure, Vegas is a horse you’ll enjoy having along. Vegas also has trail riding experience and has spent time outside the arena, giving him exposure to different surroundings and experiences. We appreciate a horse that can be enjoyed in a variety of settings, and Vegas brings that versatility together with his impressive size and sweet personality. His good manners extend beyond riding as well. Vegas loads well, picks up his feet, and is pleasant to handle. Those everyday qualities mean so much when it comes to owning and enjoying a horse, and we believe they are every bit as important as what a horse can do under saddle. What we love most about Vegas is the combination of his gentle nature, versatility, and undeniable beauty. He has the size and presence of a big draft cross without losing that sweet, personable quality that makes a horse such a pleasure to have around. He’s the kind of gelding who can catch your eye from across the pasture and win your heart once you get to know him. Whether you’re looking for a beautiful trail partner, a versatile horse to enjoy around the farm, or simply a handsome gelding to make lasting memories with, Vegas is certainly one worth getting to know.
