Ace is safe, gentle, and the kind that makes you feel comfortable the moment you step around him, suitable for riders of any level. He has been ridden both western and English and is incredibly versatile in everything he does. Out on the trail, Ace will go absolutely anywhere you ask of him, crossing water, logs, and rough terrain with ease, always willing and steady. He rides off alone without hesitation and is just as content in a group, settling in wherever you place him. He has been well acclimated to the real world—traffic, wildlife, farm equipment, dogs, and other animals—and takes everything in stride without being spooky or silly. In the arena, Ace is broke extremely well with a true one hand neck rein, a solid stop, and backs with ease. He will walk, trot, and canter, consistently picking up his leads, and is responsive to leg pressure, all while carrying himself with beautiful, natural movement that makes him a pleasure to ride. He stands patiently to mount from the ground or a mounting block and waits quietly until you are ready. On the ground, Ace is a true gentleman. He stands tied patiently, is great to bathe, groom, and tack, and picks up all four feet easily, making him a pleasure for the farrier.
