Gorgeous Dapple Grey Draft Cross
Luna is a gorgeous Dapple Grey Draft Cross that really stands out wherever she goes. She’s 6 years old and stands 15 hands, giving you that solid, stocky draft cross build while still being a great, versatile size. She’s spent the majority of her time out on the trail and has covered plenty of miles through all kinds of terrain. Luna is happy to walk along on a loose rein, but when you ask, she’ll step right up into a trot or canter and travels out smooth and easy. She’s well acclimated to the real world—farm equipment, ATV’s, livestock, dogs, traffic—you name it. She has also done some light ranch work and is comfortable around cattle, taking everything in stride with a steady, quiet mindset. Luna is broke the right way. She has a true one-hand neck rein, a solid stop, backs with ease, and moves off leg pressure. She’s soft in the bridle and gives nicely when you ask her to flex and bend. On the ground, she’s just as easy. She stands tied quietly for grooming and tacking, patient to mount, great for the farrier, and loads and hauls without any trouble. She’s been a dependable trail partner, but also has the kind of foundation and mindset that could take her in many different directions depending on what you enjoy. She’s a pretty special one.
