Blackjack – Tennessee Walker

Blackjack is a beautiful jet black grade Tennessee Walking Horse gelding. He is 10 years old and stands 16 hands tall. This handsome boy is incredibly seasoned on the trail and also has field trial experience. Blackjack is the kind of horse that is confident, dependable, and truly takes care of his rider. He is husband safe, seasoned, and the type that gives you confidence every time you swing a leg over him. On the trail Blackjack will go absolutely anywhere you ask him. He crosses water, logs, rough terrain, and tough country with ease and has the build and stamina to travel all day long. He is happy to walk quietly on a loose rein or move out and cover ground when asked. He is naturally gaited and incredibly smooth to ride. Blackjack is well acclimated to traffic, farm animals and equipment, wildlife, dogs, and all the everyday things you may encounter. He stands patiently to mount and will wait quietly until you are ready to ride off. He rides off alone without hesitation and is also great in a group in any position. One thing we really appreciate about Blackjack is his consistency. He does not have to be ridden every day and will ride off the same even after time off, whether he has been stalled or turned out in the pasture. On the ground he is an absolute sweetheart that genuinely enjoys people and attention. He stands tied patiently to tack, groom, and bathe, is a perfect gentleman for the farrier, and loads and hauls quietly.
