Registered FSHR Friesian, 11 years old and standing 16.2, with the kind of build and presence that’s hard to overlook. He’s put together right, carries himself beautifully, and has a way of moving that’s smooth, powerful, and easy to watch. But what really stands out is his mind. Thor is incredibly willing, patient, and kind in everything he does. He’s the type that meets you where you’re at and just goes along with you, whether you’re taking it easy or asking him to step up and move out. He’s been out on the trail and handles real world riding the way you hope they all would. Water, logs, rough ground, steep terrain… he takes it in stride and stays sure footed. He’ll head out alone with confidence or ride quietly in a group wherever you put him. He stays level headed and easy to be around. Around the farm, he’s just as steady. Traffic, equipment, cattle… none of it bothers him. He’s been ridden in the arena as well and is broke the right way with a true one hand neck rein, a solid stop, easy back, and good feel off your leg. He also drives and does it beautifully, adding another layer of versatility to him. On the ground, he’s as easy as they come. Stands tied patiently, enjoys the attention, and is no trouble for grooming, tacking, or the farrier. Picks up all four feet without a second thought and handles everything quietly.
